1Bust / Chest: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it level all the way around your back.
2Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
3Hip: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, roughly 8 inches (20cm) below your waist.
4Length: Measure from the shoulder point straight down to the length you'd like for your outfit — suit, gown, or lehenga.
5Shoulder: Measure straight across your back from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other.
6Sleeve Length: With your arm slightly bent, measure from the shoulder point down to your wrist, or to wherever you'd like the sleeve to end.
